First time, in 1999, we looked for Gerhart Hetzel's accounts on internet. But there was a little description to him in the world. That was a shock to us.

Several years passed from his tragic death. Everyone seemed to have forgotten about him. -We felt deep sorrow, and thought like this, at the same time, " We must make his site ! "

We were born in Japan, far east, in the 1970's. Therefore we knew him too late and we couldn't meet him. We couldn't listen to his live performances. Is our site persuasive ? -we were worry. But we always remembered the sight of his grave in the Viennese suburbs, at such time. That sight was too lonely, though in the midwinter.

Then, fan site "Hetzelianer" was born on April 24, which was his birthday, in 2002. It took us about three years from the first idea, but we suppose our site is meaningful, because another Hetzel's site can't be found yet.

He was not a mere violinist. His sound and his figuear to play were " something " to move our heart. We want to interpret "something " here.
